Our coffee story began in 2012 when our son introduced us to coffee roasting with an air popcorn popper. Later we found that using a bread maker and a heat gun worked well. In 2018 we purchased a BC sample roaster and continued to refine our coffee roasting skills. We began hosting "Coffee Klatches" in our home to introduce people to a variety of coffees and brewing methods, but it was always more about good conversation than coffee.
In September of 2021, Duane transitioned out of the role as a lead pastor and shortly after that we had the opportunity to buy Salt Creek Coffee Co. from Shayne and Jen Weaver and our coffee journey continues. We look forward to what God has for us in this next season of life!
